Relatives trip from Penang to Pavillion

It was a public holiday and my relatives decided to travel down to KL for some shopping. So I brought them to Pavillion KL since they don't have it in penang. Hmph, shall I say that there are more choices of brands and designs here in KL than in Penang.

Since there was a big sign SALES outside Tangs, they just automatically walked in as if there was a magnet there. Haha.

After Tangs and a few shops, I was already half exhausted and they were still so hype up for more. So a few of us went coffee bean for some coffee and rested. I was too bored and started taking pictures around me. My aunt gave me tips on how to capture a nice photo too. Not many of my pictures actually capture her interest. lol.

It was a long day trip with my relatives. I hardly spend time with them due to long distance. Do spend time with your family, it's the most important thing to do.

After the appetizer came out for 5 minutes, my dad just thought of pizzas and so he ordered the special Enzo Dante pizza. In just 5 minutes, his pizza flew out of the kitchen door and landed on our table. It was the fastest pizza I ever seen in my life.

Ok, I'm gonna say something about this sticky date pudding. It's the best dessert I ever had in my whole life. Serious shit, no joke. It may look simple but the taste was awesome. Omg, it can cause your taste buds to have diabetes. Haha. It was served warm with chilled vanilla ice cream. Once you had it in your mouth, everything just melt in your mouth. It's a must to try it!!

It was an usual weeknight for us to have a family dinner. This time we did know where were we heading for dinner. So I suggested an Italian restaurant strongly recommended by Harn. When we reached there, there were no one in the restaurant.

First impression from my mom was that she said the food must be terrible that no one can come. My first impression, the locals don't know how to enjoy Italian food as the housing area around that area were built very long ago. This applies to the locals to. xD

Before I forget, the head chef of the restaurant was Enzo Dante. He is a very experience and professional chef. So we started off with some appetizer he recommended to us.

Luxurious Japanese Dinner in Iketeru Hilton KL-Desserts

We were so full until we barely can move around in the room. There is still 20% space for desserts. Haha. So we ordered the traditional japanese dessert. As everyone knows including people who don't eat japanese food, these are the common japanese dessert that are served in every japanese restaurant.

We just had a few desserts because we really cannot take it anymore. So we head towards the cosmo lounge at the lobby of the hotel to listen to some live band. The singer is an Indian including all his band members. The cosmo lunge doesn't have much light and it's very dark too. Imagine a dark live band wearing all dark outfit playing in a dark place. It's as if the instrument can play by itself. Haha.

So, that's all for the day. It was a very pleasant dinner and I rate ir 9/10. xD

Very sorry to all of my readers because I did not update for like 3 days because I was on vacation in Singapore. xD. I just reached home and the first thing I do is quickly update my blog. I'm not gonna blog about singapore so soon because there are too many things to do now.

So I'm gonna blog about my japanese dinner in Hilton KL. There you go, Luxurious Japanese Dinner in Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

My dad booked a special private room just for our family because...actually I also don't know why. But luckily he booked a room because the room has more bright lights than the other parts of the restaurant which is so dark. I can't take photos at dark areas because I don't have a speedlite!!

Freedome after my finals!!!

It was the day I finish my A levels finals and I feel so free!!! Harn called me out along with kaye to yam cha in starbucks and it was already very late. We waited for zi yin over there to meet up. When zi yin reached, starbucks was already closing and he sounded so pissed that none of us dare to call him. Haha. I made the move.

Since zi yin has no where to yam cha, he called us over to canai cafe in ss15 to watch some football match. I never enjoy watching football match but somehow it was fun watching with everybody in canau cafe. When they cheer I cheer, when they boo I boo. Haha.

After all the chit chat, gossips and football match. We headed over to zi yin house by 2am and chill out. That's all for today. xD

Nasi Lemak in Village Park-Damansara Uptown

It was rather an early morning, I picked up rui ting from college and off we go for our brunch. She suggested that she had the best nasi lemak years ago in damansara uptown. I doubted that she could regonise back the place. She doubted herself too. Haha. So we gambled that the nasi lemak restaurant is still on business since the way she describe it is so mouth watering.

Once we reached there, the first thing she said:

Ting: Eh, Howard, I think it's not in damansara uptown.

Howard: What!!! I drove all the way here and all you can say is it's not here, you want me to cekik you ah??

Ting: No wait, I think I remember already, drive further down abit. I remember it's near the corner lot.

Howard: It better be true or else you walk home. Hahahaha

I know I sound violent, but it was rather a funny conversation. So I drove further down and she saw fimiliar nasi lemak restaurant but she could not regonise whether is it the right one. I stopped there for 5 minutes let her recall back every single thing about that restaurant.

Ting: Howard!! Yes, this is the one I'm talking about.

Such a relief.

Guess what, the crowded restaurant made her regonise the restaurant. So all restaurant owners out there, you can hire some "ke po" to keep your restaurant pack. xD

She needs a tissue, someone please offer her some.

The nasi lemak was really the best one I had. The fried chicken was like so crunchy yet so tender at the same time. It made me thought about this "crunchy at the outside, soft in the inside". Along with the santan rice, it's so good until you can taste the santan on every grain of rice. Seriously no joke. Price also reasonable. xD

I made it to The Star-RAGE!!

It was early in the morning when I walked into my college through the guard house. As usual I will just grab an issue of the star-RAGE. I went in the classroom and read RAGE while waiting for my lecturer. As I was readind, I received a sms from my friend saying that my blog pictures was in RAGE. I was like "WTH", my pictures...in RAGE. Then a few more smses came in telling me that my pictures were in RAGE.

I quickly flip through and tada!!! I saw this:

I was so happy because it's my first time of my name appearing in newspaper along with my blog pictures.

Ok, may be some people really doubt about it and think I lied. So I'm gonna show those people the pictures. Go compare yourself.

Actually I got this notice about my pictures publishing on that day few days ago. At that time I was doubting because it was too good to be true for the first time. xD. I always had jinx on good things always turn out to be nothing for the first time. Finally, the pictures were published!!!

Dim Sum in Shang's Palace-Part 2

Let's continue from the previous post about steamed dim sum. I continued our dim sum dining with some fried all time favourite fried dim sum. There are not many types of fried dim sum available here but it's enough to satisfy your craves for dim sum.

I did not order much of fried dim sum due to hot weather and the it's very heaty. I wanna avoid from getting sore throat. Haha. So we tried some chinese delicacy as shown below:

I was 80% full after consuming almost all the dim sum's because my parents don't eat much. I whacked all the dim sum's with my brother, imagine how much we ate. It's crazy and I spoil my diet plan for the day. How sad was that.

Now lets move forward to some desserts. Yummy!!

That's what we need to use after every meal.

After dim sum, we head over to pavillion to have some coffee as usual. My family is a coffee lover. XD

Dim Sum in Shang's Palace.

It was a saturday morning where I usually have brunch with my family. My parents decided to head to our usual dining place in Shangri-La KL called Shang's Palace. It is located on the first floor of Shangri-La. It's a place where they serve a very wide range of chinese cuisine from dim sum until ' dai chao'.

The design and interior of the place is more or less like a emperor's palace, no wonder they name is Shang's Palace. With the magnificent interior, it's also accompanied by their sumptious and tasty dim sum. The price was reasonable. You guys should go try it out sometimes.

So I assume you roughly know how Shang's Palace looks like now, I opened the menu and just ordered what is fimiliar to me. The usual Chinese dim sum.

There are three of dim sum like dried, steamed, and desserts. According to tradition, we start with some steamed dim sum.

Next post, I'm gonna post the fried dim sum and their signature Chinese desserts.

Wondermilk Cuppacakes in Damansara Uptown-Harn's Decision

After he collected his cupcakes, me and zi yin were like so eager to have a look on his taste of design. Haha. He bought the bluejay design cupcakes with some flavour I can't recall.

Since we were already there, we might as well try their cupcakes. It has been a year since my last visit with karyn and jia shen.

Zi Yin ate too much and he showed many weird emotions. Haha. He said the cupcakes was really nice.

You guys should visit there and order cupcakes for your friends and family.

Wondermilk Cuppacakes in Damansara Uptown.

It was a day before rui ting's 17th birthday. Harn just called and told me he ordered the cupcakes from wondermilk and wanted to collect it by today to give her a surprise birthday by 12am. What a sweet guy he is. So I fetched zi yin and harn and offwe go.

It is a very nice place and atmosphere in wondermilk. Everytime I walked in, it feels like I'm gonna have a Sunday morning breakfast there. They have really nice interior and it's very unsual. Let me show you.

They do sell very special and unique dresses.

And some weird toys or may be I call it the collector's toys.

As we were browsing the cupcakes catalogue, harn went to collect his lovely cupcakes.

There are 3 types of cupcakes from the cheapest to the most expensive. The lowest end is the Bluejays and the medium end is Robin. The most expensive and highclass cupcakes are the Goldfinch. Even the name also got Gold. Haha.

My very own pasta.

After posting many post about food, I assume some of you may think that I only know ow to eat but don't know how to cook. Haha. If I'm one of the readers, definitely I will think the same way. The truth is, I kinda like cooking and I always cook secretly at home. My mom dislike males in the kitchen. Typical asian moms. xD

So it was a real boring day home alone studying for my finals, I decided to dig out some ingredients at home to cook myself a pasta. I found these ingredients:

serves 4
- 5 slicesbacon
- 400ml double/heavy cream
- 300-350g shitake mushroom
-350g rigatoni
-diced ham
-dried oregano
-1 garlic clove
-olive oil
-freash rosemary

Firstly, boil the pasta with lightly salt water until tender. Make sure to check often after approx 6 minutes of boiling.

Heat the pan with olive oil and add the mushroom. Cook it under low heat and stir it frequently for approx 5 minutes. Add the garlic into the pan and cook until garlic is golden brown not black.

Add all the cream and fresh rosemary and bring to boil for 1 minute to thicken it. Season with ground black pepper and sea salt and remove from the heat.

Heat a frying pan with olive oil. Fry the diced ham and the chopped bacon together with seasoning (salt and pepper) for 2-3 minutes under medium heat or until the bacon is crispy.

Drain the pasta, sprinkle a generous amount of dried oregano and serve it immediately with the sauce, ham and bacon.

Tips:
-do not cook the bacon too long or else it wil be too dry
-eat 1 small piece of pasta to make sure its tender instead of just using fingers to test the tenderness.
-change a new garlic if your garlic is black, it taste bitter.
-hit the rosemary with the back of your knife to let it release more flavour before boiling it in the cream sauce

An Awesome Thai Dinner Experince in Kinnaree-Part 3

It was already 10pm because it was a late dinner. We were all served with the dessert's menu and all I was eyeying for was their red ruby.

My all time favourite thai desserts. It's basically a water chestnut wrapped with gelatin and served chilled with ice santan. The taste was so amazing that it actually emulsifies the taste itself when it reached your mouth.

My brother ordered the traditional thai dessert which is a mango served with pulut rice. They actually modified this dish or shall I say it improved it. They combine the taste of the pandan and pulut which makes your pulut more fragrance and top it with some santan milk. They added a new side dish which is a very special odourless durian ice-cream.

I love both these desserts and it was the best thai dessert I have ever had. xD

After the appetizer, everyone was chit chatting and I made a few local thai friends. They are pretty friendly and funny. I can say that was my first time talking to a thai. As I was busy trying to snap a few shots of the interior, my stomach was already grumbling.

I don't know what dish is this, all I know is that it's some deep fried fish. It doesn't look that nice but the taste was really mouth watering. xD. Sorry for not inserting the caption for this picture.

I was really tired after a long long day. I planned to take a nap when I reached home due to headaches. I get headaches often, no idea why. Once I reached home, mom said dinner at 6 and get ready soon. Argh!! No nappy.

It was actually a dinner with out Thai family friend. I never really met them untill this dinner. We headed to the Thai restaurant at Jaya One, Palm Square at Jalan University. Sorry because I can't provide a map. Was too tired to regonise the place. Ask around, many people should know that place. All I can say that it's near Jaya Supermarket.

Sorry for the spelling error, clumsy me. xD

I ordered this Kinaree special drink made of lemongrass. I ordered this because I wanna relieve my headache and it really worked. Can become "future doctor", haha.

So we started off with a very special thai appetizer that I never seen before. It's served in a spoon. It has small chucks of chicken with fish fauce. I just insert the whole spoon into my mouth and slowly chew it. The sweetness of the chicken was awesome as it comes along with some minor Thai dressing.

This is one very common Thai appetizer, the thing is it's a bigger one. All you need to do is take the big leaf and wrap all d spices together and pop it into your mouth. Once you have your first bite, all the taste of spices will just burst in your mouth. Lovely.

Canon Marathon Photoshoot Asia 2008.

As I was going to time square with Jia Hui, I came across this canon event called " Canon Marathon Photoshoot Asia ". I remember someone told me about this photoshoot event but eventually I did not join because I'm not enough yet. Haha.

So what I did was I just walk around at the event venue and took a few pictures of the event.

After the marathon photoshoot time is up, there was a talk by Zung who is a founder of photoz. He is called the Malaysian sharp shooter and specialised in wedding photos. You guys can go to photoz and check out his port folio. It really makes me wanna get married so soon. Haha.

Some people was too tired of listening his talk and just fell asleep just like that.

Remember when I said that I missed Cookie Monster's dance performance. Well, I kinda feel bad about it (it's not my fault). So what I did was I offered a photoshoot for them. I was directed to photoshoot them in the Apiit classroom. Haha, what an unexpected place for a photoshoot.

Everyone of them seemed really tired and exhausted. All of us was in a hurry to go somewhere else too. So the photoshoot turn out to be in a real hurry. The good thing is, I managed to snap some nice photos for them. Here they are.

Apiit UCTI Danze2Nista Reality Dance Tournament.

Now it's the reality dance tournament part. I assume you guys know what's that. For people who don't know, it's more of a live dance competition on stage. Any errors you did on stage, people will start booing you, if you're great, people cheer loudly for you. Best team wins, simple as that.

So here are some pictures of the winners for the reality dance tournament.

The third prize goes to Cookie Monster, too bad I don't have any pictures of them dancing on stage because I was late. But I have something special for them. Wait till you see it. xD

Second prize goes to a couple that dance some salsa dance. All I know about them was that they were from Kahzakstan. Wow, that's really far. But they made it 2nd. While I was taking photos of them, I heard many people were saying the girl was really hot with her bare back dress. Haha.

First prize goes to A boy crew. Well, they are just a bunch of guys dancing in a group. I got nothing much to say about them but they seemed to made it to the top.

Ok, I think I'm gonna say something about the results. I'm not really happy about the A boy getting first place because in my opinion, I would say that Cookie Monster deserves to get the first prize because their dance were more of a team work dance and has many variations.

For A crew, I would think they should be in third place because their dance are more of soloing and not much of team work. Besides that, part of their dance was not original and it was from somewhere else. I know it because I saw it before in my previous event shoot.

In my point of view, Cookie Monster should get first. I'm not saying A crew are not good, they are good and they have the skills. Hope I don't offend any A crew members and fans. It's just my opinion.

Ok, here's the bad news. Fellest Yan hurt his ankle!!! How is he going to dance tonight?!?!

Fortunately, he insist on continue to perform his dance despite his ankle injury. He said he don't care about his ankle and all he wanted was to just dance for the night. Wow, you guys better appreciate his spirit and perseverence.

Apiit UCTI Danze2Nista 2008- Usher Battle Ground.

Lets continue the part whre I went dating with Jia Hui. After she left home, I waited for Zi Yin for his canon marathonshoot asia 2008 results. As we were waiting and waiting for like 4 hours and it was already 8pm, the result was not out yet!!! We were so freaking pissed off by their timing.

We waited until 8.30pm and Zi Yin asked me to go to Apiit first because he knows I was already very late for the event. He just passed me his whole set of nikon DSLR worth more then rm10k and off I rushed to my car. I borrowed his DSLR to cover the Apiit event, thanks Zi Yin. Credits to him as all pictures were taken using his nikon D300 that is worth more than rm10,000.

I reached Apiit by 9.15pm because I get lost during the way too, haha. It's my first time to Apiit ok. I missed Cookie Monster's dance performance, argh. They are so gonna kill me. Haha. So the first thing I saw the Usher battle ground. Here are some pictures of the Usher battle, hope you guys enjoy it.

Ok, now I'm gonna say something about this event. I was abit dissapointed about this event because the organisers did not prepare a space for photographers to take photos in front of the stage. Everyone was squeezing and pushing towards the stage. And everyone was not just locals, majority of them were foreigners from all over the world. They are so big and tall and I can't even see a thing. I'm gonna show you how they arrange the stage.

I tried squeezing my way through but they just pushed me away so hard and some even scolded me. Wow. So I just stood at the left side of the back stage to take pictures and I wasn't really happy about it. I did not manage to snap many nice shots with different angles due to that issue. So, I'm sorry about that. xD

Apiit UCTI Danze2Nista Pre-Post.

I woke up early in the morning and start heading my way towards KL. Since I got extra time for travelling, why not let's try a new way to KL instead of that old boring jamming federal highway. Malaysians are kinda stingy when comes to paying tol. So this time I used the NPE (new pantai highway) highway which is always jam free.

This is the first time I used NPE to KL only. So I gambled and turn here and there with all my lucky. Wualaa, I reached KL in 10 minutes from Subang. Haha. I loved the smart tunnel and NPE. I met up with Jia Hui and went "pak toh". Haha. Usual us.

So now I'm gonna show (I know this is kinda syok sendiri) my media pass and the pictures will be posted soon.

A Family Dinner in Shangri-La KL.

It was a Deepavali holiday and my mom wanted to bring the family to our usual dining place in Shangri-La KL. She just love to go there and have dinner. So we decided to head over there for dinner. Once we reached there, there were so many people as in extra many people in the buffet restaurant.

After visiting the toilet, off we go!

Guess everyone's first choice for dinner is in Shangri-La. I did not manage to snap many pictures of the food there because it was kinda crowded and really dark. They just have those spot lights on the ceiling to create a warm atmosphere. So here are some pictures of my food mainly on desserts. xD.

See the white lady on the left. If you notice closely, she is the model for the newly launched Dior perfume in pavillion KL. It is her because I saw her appearance during the launch in pavillion the other day. Too bad no one could regonise her.

I start off with a soup to burp out all the air in my stomach. I just ate breakfast for the whole day and skipped lunch. So you should know that I'm super hungry now.

I tried plating all their food together but it doesn't seem appealing to me. Haha. I can't use my hand like those chefs did. All I can use was just their thongs. So I ended up taking pictures of this. (the easiest way to plate it).xD

It was already 8pm!! They always had their bakery promotion outside Lemon Garden of 50% discount on all items after 8pm. They have all kinds of cookies, muffins, doughnuts, cinnamons and cakes. I love to eat them all because they come in extra large sizes. You can find it right outside Lemon Garden, it's called Cinnamons. I followed my mom to the Cinnamons and bought some snacks. xD.

I was already 70% to my limit and I still have desserts to go. My stomach was already bloated and I spoiled my diet plan!! Who cares, I'm still young. Haha.

After whacking some of the desserts, I cannot eat anymore. Not even a single tiny little peice of bread crumbs. Haha. So, that's all for the dinner. Hope you guys feel tempted by the food. xD

A spider devouring a big bird??How??

Lately I went surfing in the internet news around to find some interesting news and about some downturn in the economy. I was shocked when I found out about this unimaginal news. A spider devouring a big bird?!??!?!

I read through the news and found out this is a "Goldern Orb Weaver" spider. This picture was taken in someone's backyard in australia and has been confirm that this is picture is real. This spider can grow into a size of an adult palm (referring to australians,not malaysians) at the northen region of australia. I wonder what these spiders eat everyday man, can grow until so big.

This spider usually hunts big insects and therefore it's web is very strong. It's quite normal for this spider to devour a small bird but this happen rarely. What they found out that is, it is devouring a big bird called "Chestnut Breasted Mannikin".

All I can say that is, this is one hell of a lucky spider.

Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2008.

After I went to the photo shoot in the KL orchid farm with jia hui and other stuff, we headed to time square for the KLPF. Once we reached there, guess who I met?? I met zi yin, ewin, shaun and more lar. Many bloggers and pro photographers were holding their big bulky DSLR walking around. I feel so downgrade when I was there.

So what I did was I carry along my super huge camera bag that I got it for free and carry it around showing people I have a big camera bag. Having a big camera bag means you're having a big shot DSLR with many lenses. Haha. But no one knows I have an empty bag but with only my small DSLR and a kit lens. Ewin got fooled by my big camera bag joke. Haha.

There were many top selling DSLR brands in KLPF like canon, nikon, tamron.....So here are some pictures I took.

So happen that sony was having their new reality tv camera competition on tv and were having their audition in KLPF. Ewin and his buddy were persuading me to join but I totally refused because I was shy. Haha. Taking picture and posing alone in public, very selfish right. The competition is called Double-Exposure. The prizes for this competition are:

-Highest end Sony Vaio woth rm15000

I finally finished uploading all my pictures. We waited under some small roof together to let the rain stop. Seems like the rain is not gonna stop for a long time, so we headed to the orchid shop to check out some potted flowers.

Right before I gave up snapping more photos under the rain, I accidently spotted a small pond hidden in the orchid farm filled with many water lilies. Me and jia hui were so excited and ran towards it to take pictures. The water lilies were so pretty but there isn't any dragon flies or bees.

It was our very last date for the month because we decided not to have anymore dates until our finals is over which is like another month away. How sad is dat. So I decided to bring her to the KL Orchid Farm. She loves flower alot unlikesome of my friends. xD. You know who you are.

Once we reached there, the sky was already dark and cloudy. Argh!!! You know what's going to drop from the sky soon. So I quickly snapped a few pictures all over the orchid farm. Actually the farm isn't that huge, it's managable. xD. So, here are some pictures of the flowers. Hope you guys enjoy and feel free to comment.

For me it's girls. Since the female homosapiens were born, sleepover has been always their trend in their teenage lifestyle. Usually they have their mini sleepover party at someone's house and they all gossip all night long till daylight. How hardcare can girls be. Maybe one of us was in their gossip and we didn't even know. Some even share their dirty little secret among themselves. God knows what are their dirty little secret. Try joining them for a sleepover. xD

Well, this is my first sleep over in harn's house. Pratically this is not the sleepover that you are thinking. I'm not a girl or sissy or gay. I went over to harn house after dinner around 10 and we were planned to work out in his mini gym. Guys nowdays. xD. He asked me to be his trainer for that night to teach him those work out skills.xD

We worked out till 2am in the morning, and slept by 4am. What a day!! Next morning, john came over to harn's place and mess things up. John is always john.

Let's get straight to the point. Remember the previous Gossip event post I blog about. Well, I was busy taking pictures here and there. I went every corner of the event to take what I like to take. Well, after taking pictures for like an hour, I was really exhausted and my ears was half deaf. Haha, I was right in front of the huge amplifier all the time. Silly me. xD

So I just sat at the VIP seat and start smsing my girl. Suddenly some girl appeared beside me and said:

Girl: You're guaichaikid ah??

GCK: Ya. How you know me?

Girl: Oh, I read your blog. Nice to meet you. (shakes my hand)

After she left, I forgot her name and blog URL because it was really loud and I could'nt hear a thing so I just nodded my head as if I heard her. Lol

After that, a couple but not many came to me and ask me whether am I Guaichaikid. Lol. I really didn't know people can regonise me in events or somewhere else. Lol. If you guys see me anywhere, do introduce yourself. I don't bite. xD. Looking forward to make new friends.

The Latest MacBook Pro-Apple 2.0

I just wanna share with you guys some Mac spoilers. The latest MacBook Pro has finally released. But not in Malaysia. How sad is that. Or..may be I'm wrong, it's not even released in the market yet. Haha.

But guess what I found. The latest MacBook Pro called the "APPLE 2.0". Finally apple has a new name for its product that comes with digits in it. Usually name their product that starts with i like i-touch, ipod, iLuv, idog and whatever you call those stuff.

I found a photo of this apple 2.0 but it's not really clear because it's a "spy shot". They were not allowed to take photos for some bizzare reason. But someone has an itchy hand and took it silently. Credits to the spy photographer. Here is his photo, taken from CNNmoney.com.

During the recent olympics, Usain Bolt just broke the world record of the fastest runner. As you always notice, most of the winners of running events were always runners from kenya, jamaica ,africa and countries around there. I'm not criticising about their skin colour here, I'm just trying to make a statement from my opinion.

Here's my point. Well, back in their home, they have to face wild animals in the jungle like cheetahs, lions and tigers almost everyday. Once they come contact with those wild animals, they will go like:

"Help, help, there's a tiger and lion behind chasing to eat off my bl**k ass."

Indescribable Moments.

It was an early saturday. While everyone were still sleeping, we got up real early to meet up. We always wanted to go to some nice park but we don't seem to have the chance due to the raining season. This time, we forced ourselves to wake up real early so that we were able to be at the park in KL.

When we reached there, the whole park was empty and real quiet. Until 1 big family came to the park and started taking family photos. Their family is real big because it consist of malay, chinese, indian and "ang mo". What a good combination. I call them "rojak".xD

After 2 months knowing her, we finally took a photo together. Here goes our first photo.

Because I always call dog's around me names which the people I don't like. Harn and john should know who am I calling all the time.

This is a silky terrier, ting's dog. It's a she, she is so hyper and naughty when I wanna take a picture of her. She can really drive me nuts. Everytime when I wanted to snap a picture of her, she moved and ran away. ARGH!!!!

The Three Words.

I just had 2 hours of class because....................class. xD. My lecturers don't seem to teach us anymore stuff due to our finals in just less than a week away. All they did was their boring revisions. The class was always half empty and the lecturers were in their own world.

Since I ended class so early, I wanted to give jia hui a surprise. I drove all the way to KL and waited for her to reach home. She doesn't even know I'm on my way, that's why it is a surprise. I assumed she will reach home as usual and so I reach in KL around that time and waited for her to call me back.

And so I rounded in few parts of KL to get to know KL better (I do not know KL very well even though I'm born in KL) and I ended up waiting at some bus station. I offed the engine and just waited and waited and waited for like 2 hours. All I did during that 2 hours was just looking how the parents bring home their kids from school because so happen there was a primary school nearby.

It makes me think back of my primary school days. Back in my time, my parents never came to my school and pick me up because it was way too far from home. Kids now days should really appreciate that their parents willing to pick them up from school.

After 2 hours of waiting, I kinda gave up and started back my engine. Buzz,buzz, buzzzzzzzz. She finally replied me!!! I just use the speed dial to call her and she said she can't make it out because she just reached home. She must be very tired after her choir practice in school. I didn't knew she had a choir practice that day.=.=. I chosen the wrong day to give her a surprise.:(

So we had a short conversation on the phone and I think she felt my disappointment although I said I'm fine. She wanted to buy me a lunch but I insisted that she save her money. (I'm such a good guy.xD)

The weather doesn't really look so good after 2 hours of waiting and so it rained heavily. Why does it rain when I'm moody? The worst thing was that my bladder was also full of water and I can't pee around KL just like that. The jam was heavy. Imagine you are stuck in a jam under a heavy rain with a full bladder. Haha, doesn't sound nice at all.

Actually, I went all the way to KL just to tell her the 3 words because I haven't told her yet. I did not regret at all driving all the way there for nothing because I did it for her.

Before I start, this post does not have any pictures because I was not present at both scenes. Sorry.

Scene 1:

Lately there has been many accidents around town. Well, this is the 4th guy I know died in an accident of drink and drive. I'm still kinda sad about it although I don't him well. At least I talked to him a few times. His death news has been spread all over sri kl students as well as ex-sri kl students. Mainly because he was an ex-sri kl student.

Last week after he came back from Australia, his friends insists him to go clubbing although he did not wanted to go. In the end, he just went to entertain his friends. How nice of him. After clubbing, I assumed he was a bit drunk. He dropped his girlfriend home and off he was on his way back home.

Suddenly, he was banged behind the car really hard and he crashed on to a divider. The impact was real big until he flew out of his car through his windscreen. He landed on the road unconscious. Here comes a speedy myvi who speeds like mad just ran over him and he just died on the spot.

The whole scene was seen by an indian man who passed by. I really feel sad for him and his family.

p.s: The story written by me may not be 100% right.

Scene 2:

Yesterday as I was driving home after college, I was really tired and speed a little bit to reach home sooner. "Sorry mom for speeding." As I was reaching home, the road was really jammed and I thought there was a police check.

Suddenly, I saw this blue light blinking on a white proton waja. It is the police!! I panicked because I did not put my P sticker on my car. Haha. "I like to act like a pro on the street"xD. I quickly think and think and think to figure a way out but there was none. As I was driving along slowly, I saw the fireman truck. The fireman truck saved my life!!

It was another accident on the road. All I saw was a medium size lorry hammered badly on a bus from behind. When I passed by the lorry, I saw this indian man lying on the floor injured. The driver seat of the lorry was crushed badly. No wonder they need a fireman to help him get out of there. Or maybe he was too fat. xD.

Many accidents are happening around us but yet many of us still take it easy and still like to speed. You will never know how vulnerable you are to get into an accident until it is too late.

So, drive safe!!

Wei Ping's Open House.

I just came back from KL today and I was totally exhausted. Once I reached home, I barely can move a single muscle. But I have to go to wei ping's open house because I promised her few months ago when she called me. xD. I was kinda excited to go to her open house too since it's her big new home.

I had a quick brush up and off I go. I picked up a few of my friends, a few turning here and there and finally I reached her house. I didn't expect so many people would turn up because I assumed she just invited her college mates.

'Mana tau' her grandma,grandpa,aunty,uncle,cousin brother,cousin sister,father's brother's children,older sister's friend's friend,older sister punya boyfriend....many more. Maybe I was just crapping. xD

So after dinner we just hanged out in her room and some mini dining hall.

That's all for now, after I went home, I just collapsed on my bed. xD

It was another weekend family dinner. Parents was in a good mood. So they decided to head towards bangsar for some real good dinner. My dad just said the word "banquet" and there goes my mom again asking whether is it good and stuff like that. Annoying as usual. XD.

Let get straight to the point of this post. Have you ever wondered how peacocks mate? According to their name, I assume their cock is a size of a pea. Lol. Here are some pea-cock pictures. It took me long enough to wait for it to open its feathers. Appreciate it.

1 Day trip to KL Bird Park.

It's already our Raya holiday!!! Me, shaun, en lin, u wei and zi yin planned to ho a photo shoot trip in the KL Bird Park. We were all so excited because it's our first time. We were expecting easy peesy shots from the birds.

We drove all round KL for like few hours to find the bird park because khai shaun was the navigator. Haha. The bad thing was, my bladder was totally full when we got lost. You should know how I felt that moment. Getting lost in KL with a full bladder. xD

Since all of my canon kaki went, I can't borrow any macro or tele lens from them. All I used for that day was just a tamron 18-50mm lens. The zoom was so short and I can't shoot the birds from far. It was a disaster for me!! So don't expect so much from me. xD

After 3 hours of walking and patience and photo shoot. We were totally exhausted. So we took a rest at some pondok and check out our photos.

Both teams were called up on stage. Both teams were starring at each other as if they were gonna start a fight. Lol. Just joking!! xD. As mentioned before, the results depends on the loudness of the cheer of the crowd.

The moment was really tense as the crowd cheered for both teams as equally loud. Let me show you their tense faces.xD

They did not prepare a prize giving ceremony for the winner so I don't have much pictures of the results.

Gossip Street Dance-Battle Begins.

After the opening act, the real battle begins between cookie monster (my all time favourite) and X5. You guys remember cookie monster from the winner of the taylors dance arena or not? If you don't remember, you better remember them now.

The battle begins:

I know some fellars from cookie monster. We kept in touch since the previous event. After they came down, I rushed towards the backstage to take some photoshoot. Well, I din really did a great job because it was really dark. Sorry cookie monster.

When I saw one of the X5 members walked out, I just stopped them as if they are under arrested. Haha, may be I was abit too tense. All I wanted from them is just a group photo!!

Whao, the competition between both teams were really tight. The emcee let the crowd to decide who is going home with rm1000 cold hard cash and some merchandise. The winner is.....to be continued...

Gossip Street Dance-Opening Act.

Gossips wanna make the street dance finals exciting. So guess what? They invited some big time professional dancers like Tren Production and Top 4 finalist of " So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 ".

Those 2 teams performed for the opening act before the final battle begins. Just to cut my introduction short. They are really really really " si beh " good and very fast. I really had a hard time taking photos of them. Now you see them, now you don't. Lol.

Firstly the opening act begins with Tren Production. They are basically a team of dancers who does product launching, choreography, talents search and dance show. They even have their branch office in kepong, kota damansara and taman nanyang. Awesome!!

After their dance was over, I was called to go way behind stage to take their photos. Lucky me!! There were like 20 of them if my maths is right. So many in a dance team. Their team work must be awesome.

Next, we have the Top 4 finalist of " So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 " to perform live here on Gossip street dance finale. The emcee were question about guys " do male dancers all have 6 packs?? " That means I'm a dancer too? Lol. Go figure out yourself. xD

Overall, these 2 teams are really awesome and entertaining. I just loved their performance because they are paid to entertain us. Haha.

Gossip press conference.

I'm blogging now semi-live from the press conference because the press conference has just ended 30 minutes ago and I'm blogging about it right now.

I can say that this is my first time attending an official press conference. Although I'm not from any press firm, but I'm still there to take photos for my blog. xD. As I mentioned earlier, HANNAH TAN was suppose to attend right?

Guess what?!?! She 'fong fei kei' the press conference. Argh, I was kinda pissed because she did not attend. Ended up I did not take even a single shot of her. Sorry guys. The good news is, at least Suki appeared in the press conference to launch the Gossip event.

Suddenly they called out Suki to launch the event with Mr Sivarasa. After years of wondering how does Suki look like in real person. It was really hard for me to take her pictures because the place was really packed and small. All the news reporters with their big DSLR , I can't make a nice shot of her. So, there she is!!

After the press conference, they officially launched the Gossip event by putting up their signature paint on the board. This is how is it done.

Right after the launch, there was a Durex safe hunt. It's like a treasure hunt. I wonder what are they hunting for. Condoms??

It was a great experince to attend my first press conference. I wish I could be invited for more events like this. Next stop, street dance competition in asia cafe. Ciao fellarz.

There is this upcoming event. Well actually it's a 3 day event which just started today. This event is not mainly about gossips about international celebrities like Britney, Pamela Anderson or Vanessa Anne Hudgens. This event is more of a charity event which will be held in SS15 and Subang Parade.

I was invited to the event to take photos through out the 3 days event. Well, I can't go to all the events and take photos due to classes which clashes the activities. How sad was that, but not to worry, I will attend the press conference tomorrow which HANNAH TAN will personally appear and I will take tonnes of photos of her. That's the best part.

Besides that, There will be a charity concert on friday night in subang parade. I was given a VIP pass to go back stage and front stage and all over the stage. Haha. May be I exaggerate a bit too much.

Taylor's Mooncake Festival 2008.

Taylor's was having another event last friday. It was the Taylor's mooncake festival. It's more of a carnival accompanied with some performances. The event turn out to be not bad because many turned up for the event. This event is mainly also for charity.

I accidentally bumped into khai shaun and yew wei and so we set up in some area and started exchanging lens. We also saw some peeps taking pictures with their DSLR and so we discuss about all the settings for the events. Photography languange. xD

We were late for the event for like and hour or so. So we missed many performances. But not too worry, we reached on time for the best performances for the night.

First we have the some sort of wushu performance. They are really hardcore and tough. As I was taking their photos, I was abit worried about them kicking the speakers to us. Haha.

Next, we have the acrobatic performers all the way from Shanghai. They were really talented and entertaining because they were very pretty on stage I suppose. The whole crowd cheered for them throughout their performances even tough there were some cut down in the electricity.

Guess how many hoola-hoops was on her waist that night. 213 hoola-hoops!!! I assumed her waist were very muscular. She was also known as the shanghai best hoola-hoopers.

Overall, the event was slightly above average. The organisers really did a great job. Thanks Khai Shaun for your lens too. Really makes it much easier to take events pictures. Thanks Khai Shaun!!

I insist on meeting her after her work on that day. I drove all the way to KL Pavillion, the place where she worked. Was suppose to met her up earlier but she refuse because she feel bad for me waiting for her for like 3 hours.

By 5pm, I started driving my Civic to KL and the traffic doesn't seem friendly at all.

Once I reached Pavillion, we just walked around the mall with our empty stomachs because there are no space for us to eat. The malays again are 'bukaing' their puasa at that time. I spotted the Adidas store in Pavillion which they actually sell DIY adidas called MI-adidas. You can just buy a shoe with your name on it. Cool right!!

The best part is that kenny sia actually was at the exact spot where I took this pictures. I followed his angled and placing. Haha. Kenny sia and Guaichaikid was here!!!

Later on, we walked all the way to Starhill and just sat on a bench to listen some really nice band with nice songs. There were just both of us on this real big bench.

Suddenly as we were looking around, we saw this amazingly chamber that connects Starhill and JW Marriott hotel. I took many photos in the chamber. Hope you guys enjoy it.

It's already late when we walked back to Pavillion but still many restaurants all packed. Fortunately we manage to get a seat in Madam Kwan's.

This was one of the best date with her due to some reasons. Only our close friends knows what's going on. xD. I appreciate every moment of it.

It's getting dark and nobody knows the way home to jia hui's house including herself.=.=. She insisted on taking the KTM home by herself. I know this sounds so dangerous as you all know malaysian ktm has many perverts and flashers. I was so worried to obliged her decision but there were no other choices. She left hurrily before the sky gets darker.

I know this sounds very dramatic but it really happaned. xD. At least she reached home sooner than I expected. I was relieved when she picked up my call. Now all is left was me, harn and ting. I felt like I'm the lightbulb. xD.

Rui ting complaint that she skipped lunch and was really hungry now. The whole restaurant in midvalley was so packed with malays 'bukaing puasa', they leave us chinese no place for dinner. :'(. So we decided to 'dapao' Carl's Jr to eat somewhere else. You will see. xD

After the dinner and all the hang outs. We had to send all the way home. She better appreciate us as her friends. xD

Home sweet home!! But not me, gonna stay overnight in harn's house to work out after all the Carl's Jr burgers and fries.

It was at the edge of my semester holiday. I ask her out again to nicely help me finish off my holidays. xD. This time we were just in midvalley instead of gardens. We met up at our special place between gardens and midvalley. I just loved the meeting point, it's so nice and bright.

Her stomach was grumbling badly because it was already late afternoon. I quickly decided to bring her to have lunch before she faints. xD

After lunch we then met up with harn and ting to watch ' money not enough 2 '. The movie was hilarious and very meaningful. Jia hui even learned so many new hokkien words in 1 day. Lol. She's a fast learner.

Happy 80th Birthday!!

My grandma has finally reached 80 years of age. She has been a long long way since 1928.

Do you know that an average human can live up to average 70 years of age. And my grandma just passed the average age by 10 years!! She is still strong and healthy. Since she's 80, the whole family planned to celebrate her birthday as if the whole world must know but many can't make it due to overseas study and jobs. No matter what, the celebration still goes on.

After all the eating and filling up our tummy. I was like the families' photographer in a sudden because I was holding a DSLR. Everyone was calling me to take their photos nicely. They just somehow posed all the way they wanted to all the time.

Finally, the moment we all have been waiting for. The birthday cake!!

After the cake session. She started giving out ang paus for no reason. I'm not sure whether is this
some kind of tradition or she was giving out because she loved us.

Long live grandma!! We love you!!

First Destination.

Before I reached Penang, I had dinner with my family and relatives in Bukit Tambun. Its been a long time since I had dinner over there. Although the place is kinda dirty, but the food remain tasty.

Bad news guys, I was too hungry after a long journey and totally forgot to take pictures of the food I ate. Haha. But don't worry, the next few post will have lotsa food pictures will make you crave for them.xD

The next morning, I woke up early in the morning because I was not use to the bed I slept. It was the day my grandma's birthday and at the same time it was the mooncake festival too. Everyone kept themselves totally free the whole day incase there are any sudden plans.

So we headed out to have a simple breakfast somewhere in penang. Guess what?

I had the best hokkien mee and lobak in butterworth!!

Ramadan Bazaar.

We (me, harn, wen hoi and his friend) went to the ramadan bazaar in ss18. Sadly I forgot to bring my wallet!! I locked it in my stash and forgot to take it out. Silly me. xD. So, all I did was busy taking pictures that. It really made me occupied.

I was suppose to blog about the 3 of them but turn out that the food in the bazaar made me forgot about them. Haha. The food really smells good and tasty. I just can't stop taking pictures.

I notice 1 thing about the bazaar. Every year they tend to change the food they sell. Last year, I notice they started to sell chinese food like char kuey teow.

One thing really bothers me about this stall is that: " Are they really from Penang ". They can write whatever they want even something like " Melayu Bak Kut Teh ". Nobody knows what's inside.xD

This year, I was shocked that they sell:

Western food!! So what are they going to sell next year? Sushi? Tempura? Tepanyaki?

Wonder how does this taste like. I'm so curious. Is it halal?

It was a sudden date I asked her out for lunch. I planned to bring her have streamboat in OUG but turn out the weather was burning us alive. So I decided to switch to plan B. To all guys out there, please plan out your plan B before going out a date.

Guess where I brought her? Delicious in bangsar!! She was kinda excited because she never been to Delicious in bangsar. Guess this was the right place for her again.

This time, I forced her to pose in front of the camera. She just obliged my request and start posing. Haha. She kept on giggling because she was not use to this camera's right in front of her. I told her to start preparing before she becomes an aritist.

After all, she was not shy at all. Asking me whether her pose is alright. Haha.

After our wonderful and grand lunch, jia hui wanted to walk around bangsar village to have a look. Seems like their decoration are ready for the upcoming lantern festival.

It was another wonderful date with jia hui again. She enjoyed her lunch and love it too although she said she was not use to it. But still, she love every bits of it.

p.s: I was not in any of this pictures because she was afraid to use my new DSLR, haha.

Since john was sitting behind with my DSLR, he just grabbed it and get high. You know what I mean. Lol. So these are the pictures taken by john.

After getting my canon EOS 1000D. Harn and john asked me to go to RACKS. I was really very tired at that time but still because of my camera, they forced me to go. You know the reason. xD

Today me and harn and john went to parade to check out the price for 1000D because that is what I only can afford FOR NOW. I wanted to get the canon 450D but I don't want to owe people money. Owing people money is like being a slave to the debtors. No good.

The whole parade are out of stock for this model. This model is a big hit in the market because its new and affordable. Even some places in low yat also ran out of stock. By asking the price in parade, it really turns me off because its darn expensive!!

So we head down to low yat plaza in KL to check out the price. It's so way cheaper then parade. Lucky I drove all the way to KL to get my DSLR.

I finally got my DSLR.

Is it a nikon D60? No.

Is it a nikon D80? No

Is it a canon 450D? No.

Is it a canon 1000D? Yes!!!!

After I bought the DSLR. I was not the first to play with it. John and wen harn just took my camera and walk away. They started snapping photos all over KL and some weird photos. I will post those pictures soon because I'm really exhausted now due to long drive.

My first date.

Remember the girls from zero degrees celsius? I managed to get to know a few of them. I asked one of them out for a date which is jia hui aka bai bai. That's what I always call her.

That's her. We were suppose to meet up by 1.30pm at midvalley but thanks to the rain. We both were really late. Haha. I thought I was the only one who's going to be late. We ended up meeting each other at 2.30pm.

It was the first time we met after knowing each other for 2 weeks. I was kinda nervous. She did not know what to call me when she saw me because she was shy. Haha.

First, we headed to the Kenko fish spa therapy. It was our first time entering a spa therapy center. She hesitated to enter because it's her first time too. I just pulled her inside and made the payment and off we go to the fish spa.

When we just place our feet into the small pool, our feet was so ticklish and we cannot stand it. We kept on taking out our feet and place it back in. We keep repeating the same procedure until we get use to it. You guys should try it, it's really worthy. One tip to overcome the ticklish part fast. Flex your feet muscles. Haha. Try it.

After few minutes soaking my leg in the pool, just look at the amount of fishes around my leg. The feeling of them eating the dead skin on my leg were like as if a small vacumn is sucking my leg.

I noticed there was a menu on the table and was curious. Actually you can order food and drinks while enjoying the therapy. This is so high class. We both really enjoy ' kao kao ' during the 30 minutes therapy.

The fish spa therapy was one heck of a great experince. We were starving almost to death because we had a super light lunch before that. We went to sushi king for sushi.

She was too shy to be in the picture. So she just use the glass as a shield.

After eating sushi. We went to the gardens to watch movie in GSC signature. It's a premium class cinema. Very 'chio' ok. Big and softy seat. Jia hui just love it and kept on telling me how much she love the comfy seat.

Before the movie starts, they showed some sort of magic comedy cartoon. It really makes me wonder whether are we in the right cinema. I went out to check again and again until the movie starts. I miss the first part!!

The movie was really hilarious and cute. I just loved the story line. It's romantic and I picked the right movie to watch with jia hui because she loved it too.

I enjoyed the whole day with jia hui and hope there will be another time. xD

p.s: This really is my first date after 18 years.

Merdeka!!!

Exam was officially over!!! But the finals is like 1 more month away. Guess 'merdeka' is not always forever for me. Me and harn went over to a 'mansion' own by ting. Man, her house was huge as if her parents had children like 2 football teams or may be more than that. But guess what, there were only 6 people living in the house.

We planned earlier to go to taman pertanian for cycling but the sun was so glaring and so hot. We end up playing basketball at her house. The compound was big enough for us to play a fair game.

So I matched harn for 1 on 1. I dind't touch the basketball for like ages. I was scared I will get trashed. But it wasn't so bad. I still have some residue basic skills. It's enough for harn to have a hard time. Haha.

I assume you guys will think that I was kicking the ball to the hoop. Lol. I was shooting and thanks to wen harn's block. He pushed me backwards or may be I was trying to attempt a fade away shot. Too fancy huh. xD

After playing a few games with harn. We were really exhausted and breathing as if we just ran a marathon. We rested for a moment and start thinking about dunking. How pathetic is that. Us dunking?

Since it was a adjustable hoop. We were trying to loosen the screw and adjust the hoop lower. First thing came in my mind was climbing because I love climbing. All those rock climbing training I had, it really did pay off well.

Heard of ' what goes up must come down' ? It is exactly what happened to me. When I was on the top, harn said : ' Howard, let me support you!!' Thanks to his support. It made it worst. He was suppose to push my leg up and ended up pulling my leg down.

I was like Ahhh!!!!!!! I fell down side ways and pulling the whole pole down with me. It was high up ok. I let go the poll and fell down on the floor just like this:

I landed on the floor hard and I just my leg. I think I tore some minor musscles in my tigh. But I'm still fine. Thank harn for his wonderfull help.

After the game we went cycling but we did not manage to get some pictures because we forgot to bring ting's handphone.

After cycling we went in to her house and she started playing the piano showing off her skills. She was really good for a gred 4 student. I never knew she could be so good. Her piano was located and a very nice mini ballroom where all the piano sound was reflected all over the place. Above the piano was a very big and shiny chandalier. Such a nice settings.

Lunch time! Me and harn was starving and we asked ting for lunch. All she said to us was:

Ting: "I don't eat lunch want wor, my maid don't cook anything in the afternoon."

Me and Harn: "What!!! No lunch at home!!!"

We were starving madly. Both of them persuaded me to cook a light meal. I cooked and English brunch which consist of scramble eggs, toast bread accompanied with grilled mushrooms and tomatoes.

I did not took the picture of the scramble egg because it was a failure. Not my fault ok, the butter she had was really abit too oily and the pepper was Ajinomoto pepper. But it was still eadible.

Hibernating in Library.

It was 1 day to ' Merdeka'. Our last most important paper was physics. Me and harn and ting met up in the library and decided to hardcore on physics.

We ended up talking non stop and busy taking pictures. Ting and harn was busy with each other while I was too obsessed observing the library. I love observing places. May be it's a syndrome of a future photographer. xD

I was so bored and sick of studying in the library for like 6 hours. 6 HOURS!!! I cannot believe I wasted 6 hours of my life in the library. The worst thing is that we were not productive at all. We only did 1 set of past year paper for 6 hours.

Harn was too bored. He just went to the computer and started to play internet games quietly. How ridiculous was that.

Guess what he played? Bubble tank 2. It's some game that I introduced to him. haha. I'm a bad influnece to him. Basically, it's a game where you are a baby bubble and start shooting other bubbles to become bigger. Cute right?

Later on, he gone more wild. He just stood right in the middle of the library and start doing this:

We just wasted half a day in library doing stupid stuff and gossping. hehe. The usual us.

I can't go out lately due to the recent A levels trials. So, I got nothing much to blog about lately. Sorry folks. I was stress and tired. Lucky me because I dropped chemistry. My work load was like way lighter now.

This paper is a killer.

3 more papers to go and I'm free. But my finals is like 1 more month away. Sigh...

Will update more interesting stuff soon. 2 more days and I'm off to holiday!!

After my economics paper, we had a 3 hours break which is freaking long. Guess what I did?

I took grace's sweater and start putting on. Man, I really had a tough time wearing it. It's so small and short. So tight!!

It just reached barely half my upper body. Just see the big difference between my body and grace's body.

Nicole was kinda busy body too. She purposely woke me up during my nap on the table and just took a picture of me. She even edited the picture in her phone and it turn out to be like this:

Hey guys, I suppose you guys assume my blog is already half dead. Well it's not dead yet. I'm still saving to get a D80 DSLR which will cost me around rm3500. A lot right.

Remember the sony cybershot touch screen camera I wanted. I changed my mind again. xD. This DSLR really impressed me. The quality is amazing and in the long run, I don't need to get another camera in the future.

But I wanna keep my blog alive asap because I would be bored without blogging I guess. So, my plan B was to get a cheaper DSLR which will cast me rm2100 which is a nikon D60. The new model.

Argh, I cant decide. Get the D60 next week or D80 in 3 months time.

As you all know, the increase of CPO (crude palm oil) prices is giving the aviation industry a tough time. If they increase their ticket price too high, they might lose their customer. In order to cover up their losses, they came up with a new idea!

Charging flight passengers to check in their suitcase.

I read this in MAD MAG that I got it from USA, its really cool about what they wrote.

As we all know, many people are trying to avoid this paying issue to save money. Check some cool ideas.

You can dress in layers like:
- 8 pairs of underwear ( it might get too hot down there )
- 4 pairs of pants ( people might think that you're trying to control your desire )
- 6 shirts ( isn't it too hot for malaysians )

Dressing in layers not only will save your money but will save you from a car accident!

Buy a real huge umbrella that will fill in all your toiletries, gadgets and snacks. You might look suspicious of trying to smuggle someone into the plane like osama's son. But remember, opening an umbrella in a plane is bad luck!

Reading materials are not considered as a luggage. Why not we follow the traditional way of keeping secret. Hollow out a large book like yellow pages or a thick dictionary and pack it full of socks, handkerchiefs or some coins.

Mind wearing a hat in an airplane?? Try wearing a stovepipe hat. It can carry a hell of a lot of stuff like your medicines, shaver or even your favourite snacks. Wearing this hat makes you look patriotic too. (does not apply for malaysians)

This sounds a bit too much. You can try swallowing your stuff just before the flight. You can swallow your shoes, gloves, watches or even your private soft toys.

Your stomach can be a good luggage too. You might want to start swallowing your stuff a few days prior to your departure if you're a heavy packer.

Warning: please do not try this at home!

As you all can see, this 5 steps can help you store everything you need for your traveling without paying any surcharge to check your suitcase.

Brand New Ride.

Finally I can grab hold of a new car. A sweet sweet ride. Well, wen harn was the first to sit my new ride. He took his DSLR and start snapping pictures.

It's a honda civic 1.8 litre only. Not as powerful as 2.0 litre. But the difference is a tiny bit only. Civic has transform more into a sporty type of car which has a sensitive steering along with a fast pick ups. This car is getting more and more common on the road. So, having this car is really not a big deal. Hope you guys enjoy this post.

Have you ever wonder how malaysians unite together??

Well, malaysians have a tradition of eating indian rojak and cendol along the road side. Although the way the prepare the food may seem dirty, but who cares. The food is still delicious. So far no one complaint about food poisoning.

While malaysians are enjoying rojak and cendol along the road side, they seem to get to know each other. Chit-chatting and talk about some politics or something that might interest among themselves.

I just ordered the rojak that I've never tasted for ages.

Bak Kut Teh

This post is the continuation of the previous post. I just received the pictures from wen harn today. Sorry for the delay.

It was evening after we finish our badminton game. We were all exhausted and of course very hungry. After long hours of deciding where to have dinner, suddenly the word 'bak kut teh' breeze through my mind. It has been almost 10 months since I had my bak kut teh. Since everyone obliged my decision, off we go to bak kut teh.

In the car, everyone was really tired and just kept quite for a while. We can hear each and everyone's stomach grumbling and craving for bak kut teh. To keep us occupied, wen harn took out the camera and start snapping pictures.

Me and wen harn tried to persuade adrienne to pose like sexy rui ting. Unfortunately, I made up some funky noise and made her laugh like this:

We had a great time snapping photos in the car and we forgot that were actually still hungry. Once our brain reminded us that we need food, we finally reached :

Best bak kut teh I had in town. But you can't compare this with klang's bak kut teh, it's like 2 different things. Rui ting said she's gonna bring us to the best bak kut teh restaurant in klang. Sold out every single thing in just 2 hours, imagine the desperateness of bak kut teh lovers.

It's been a long time since I had bak kut teh. So I forgot how big the portion of bak kut teh we suppose to order according to our eating 'power'. I ordered a portion of 4 people with additional vegetable and some tau fu that adrienne wanted.

When the bak kut teh came, it was humongous. I totally forgot rui ting and adrienne are not big eaters like me and wen harn. Well, we are not really that big eaters like someone who claims that he can finish 11 bowls of rice. It's just that we were really exhausted and hungry.

When all the food just came, I was the first to dive into the humongous pool of bak kut teh and started filling my stomach. Everyone followed and we really enjoyed the taste and atmosphere of a bak kut teh restaurant.

We ate until we sweat all out again as if we were playing badminton again. All of us just ate as fast as possible.

We almost finish the bowl of bak kut teh and everyone was really filled up. We can barely walk properly. After all the calories burnt from the badminton, we ate everything back again as if we did not play badminton at all. What a waste but it was really fun spending time together.

It was really an exhausting day for us and we still have class the next day. Another day has just passed by.

Future of Malaysian Sport.

Today we had our physics practical paper 31. Well, I think I did quite well because I'm able to finish everything. All I need to do is wait for the results.

We had earlier planned on playing badminton after our practical. Thanks to wen harn, we are unable to play in jaya square which is a very nice place to play because all the courts are fully booked. Fyi, it's a high school holiday season now. Finally we headed to subang racket to play badminton.

As usual we let the ladies to play first, playing with me and wen harn i mean. xD. We warmed up and realised how sucky we have became after a long time of missing in action.

Now it's time to be a photographer, I told the girls to play as usual and ignore me. Guess what came out:

The weird thing about this picture above is that she just kept on laughing and giggling at the same time while playing badminton. I told her to concentrate and guess where she hit the shuttlecock.

It went through my face and end up behind my back just like this. Rui ting still can smile for her 'nice' move.

John came all the way from sri hartamas to play badminton with us. He's such a nice guy, came from so far just to play with us. It's been a few months since we met. So we talked a lot about guys stuff and girls stuff. That's us.

We had a man to man match and it was tough. We all were almost the same level so we had quite a competition. Most of us were lacking of stamina and were struggling to finish the game. Playing 3 sets in a row was not easy. Fortunately John manage to keep up.

We all have watched the Lin Dan and Chong Wei's match. During the game,we always follow the way they hit and move and even the way when they wanted to change the shuttlecock. At least we had the chance to experience the olympic games. Memang syok sendiri. xD
